2024 Milan Motor Show, Kawasaki street cars and touring cars are fully evolved, and the Z900 is strongly modified

In 2024, Kawasaki did not launch a large number of modified models like Honda or Yamaha, but focused on the street car and sports tourer series that have not been updated for a long time. Kawasaki’s key models include the newly modified Z900, the upgraded Ninja 1100SX and Versys 1100. In addition, Kawasaki also exhibited the KLX off-road vehicle series that will be launched in Europe soon, as well as the retro models W230 and Meguro S1.

A large number of electronic controls are added to the new generation Kawasaki Street Fighter Z900

Kawasaki brought the long-awaited street fighter Z900 facelift at this year’s Milan Motor Show! The new model inherits the Kawasaki family “Sugomi” design vocabulary, and the electronic control can finally catch up with its competitors in the same class, equipped with IMU inertial measurement unit, cruise control, quick shift system and other advanced electronic control technologies.

In addition to the massive upgrade of the electronic control, the power part has also been improved, the fuel consumption performance has also been improved, and the frame and chassis have also been optimized to bring a more exquisite riding experience. The SE version has a unique color scheme and Ohlins shock absorbers.

Configurations such as Brembo brake calipers further enhance its competitiveness.

Ninja 1100SX vs. Versys 1100

The Ninja1000SX has been a classic sports car (SS) that combines comfort and speed since its first generation was launched in 2011. The current version is the fourth generation launched in 2020, and now the Ninja1100 has evolved into the fifth generation model.

The displacement of the new Ninja 1100SX has been increased to 1099cc. In addition, the newly added SE high-spec version has become the focus of this announcement. The SE version is equipped with Brembo and Öhlins top suspension systems, which further enhances the overall handling.

The new Versys 1100 inherits the exterior design of the Versys 1000 and continues its basic concept of being able to easily cope with various road conditions and remain comfortable for long rides. There are three versions available: the standard version of the Versys 1100; the Versys 1100 S with comfort features such as a turn signal headlight, heated grips, and a bow guard; and the top version of the Versys 1100 SE with an electronically controlled suspension system based on the S version.

As a touring model, the Versys 1100 is equipped with a large fairing and a visor with stepless height adjustment, which can provide the best wind protection in various riding conditions. In addition, the body is equipped with a fixed seat for directly installing the Kawasaki original rear box and side box, making long-distance travel easier.

ZX10R and ZX6R SE versions are now in WSBK color

Kawasaki has withdrawn from the WSBK factory team, but its iconic “lime green” will continue in another way. To commemorate Kawasaki’s glorious history in WSBK, the 2024 KRT versions of the ZX-10R, ZX-6R and ZX-4R are all covered with the WSBK uniforms of the Kawasaki factory team. Fans can continue to feel the passion and glory of Kawasaki on the track by purchasing these special edition models.

In addition to the classic paint job, the ZX-10R KRT version is equipped with a 998cc four-cylinder engine, an advanced electronic control system and excellent aerodynamic design, showing track-level performance. The ZX-6R and ZX-4R KRT versions also have racing style and performance to meet the needs of riders of different levels. Whether it is track racing or road riding, you can feel Kawasaki’s racing genes and the legendary charm of “lemon green”.

W230/Meguro S1 retro car series landed at Milan Motor Show

Although the Kawasaki W230 and Meguro S1 were unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show and Japan Mobile Show last year, their exhibition at the Milan Motor Show marks that these two Japanese models featuring classic retro style will officially enter the European market this autumn. This move provides new choices for European consumers who love retro models. The two models previously focused on the Japanese and Asian markets, and now they have landed in Europe, and we are looking forward to their performance in the European market.
