Review of Milan Motor Show EICMA, QJMOTOR’s four new heavyweight cars are more international

The 2024 Milan International Motorcycle Exhibition (EICMA) ended last month. This year’s Milan Motor Show also had the most domestic brands participating. Perhaps many riders have discovered that brands such as CFMOTO, Shengshi, and Qianjiang are somewhat less interested in domestic motorcycle shows, but pay more attention to their appearance at the Milan Motor Show. At this year’s auto show, QJMOTOR launched four heavyweight models at once, and each one is very attractive. Let’s review them together!

01: SRK 1000 RR

SRK 1000 RR is called “Sai 1000 four-cylinder imitation” by domestic riders. In fact, this car has been unveiled at the Milan International Motor Show last year. As soon as it was launched, it was criticized by riders for its exaggerated and peculiar appearance. The model exhibited this year has also been redesigned from the front. This car, including the SRK 1000 to be introduced below, was designed by the Italian C.Creative design studio. After the modification, the SRK 1000 RR is no longer so abrupt, and the overall proportions are more coordinated.

The new SRK 1000 RR is powered by a DOHC inline four-cylinder water-cooled engine from MV Agusta, with an actual displacement of 921cc, a maximum power of 118kW/13,600rpm, a maximum torque of 90N.m/11,000rpm, and a maximum horsepower of 161. The configuration is also quite luxurious, with Ohlins shock absorbers at the front and rear, a full set of Brembo calipers, Brembo hydraulic clutch, cornering ABS, two-way quickshifter, TCS traction control, electronic throttle, IMU six-axis, cruise control, etc.

02: SRK 1000

The SRK 1000 is a street car developed based on the same platform as the SRK 1000 RR. It is called the Chase 1000 by domestic riders. In terms of appearance, the two models actually have a similar design style. Although the three-dimensional daytime running lights have a bit of KTM design sense, the full and muscular design of the whole car also perfectly interprets the Italian aesthetics. It is no exaggeration to say that these two models have indeed become more international in terms of appearance and overall strength.

In terms of power, it is exactly the same as the SRK 1000 RR. Perhaps many riders will ask how Qianjiang got the MV Agusta engine? In fact, Qianjiang and Agusta had signed a cooperation agreement in 2020, but later KTM intercepted the cooperation and failed to continue. However, Qianjiang still has the right to use this engine in China. In terms of configuration, the SRK 1000 is basically the same as the SRK 1000 RR, except that some specifications such as calipers and shock absorbers are slightly lower.

03: SRV 900 V

The arrival of SRV 900 V is indeed a surprise at this Milan Motor Show. After all, there was no news about this car before. In China, it is called Shan 900. As the second V4 engine cruise model under Qianjiang, the biggest competitor it will face is the Black Flag 950 from Benda. It can be said that they each have their own advantages. The design of SRV 900 V is relatively coordinated as a whole, but it is obvious that the design was completed by a domestic design team, and there are more or less reference elements in it.

In terms of power, the SRV 900 V is equipped with a 90° V-shaped four-cylinder water-cooled engine, with an actual displacement of 899cc, a maximum power of 82kW/10,000rpm, a maximum torque of 85N.m/8,500rpm, and a maximum horsepower of 111.5. The configuration is also remarkable, with front and rear shock absorbers from the company’s own Mazurchi brand. It is also equipped with a full-color TFT LCD instrument, dual-channel ABS, TCS traction control, etc., but it is a bit surprising that the brakes do not use the Brembo brand.

04: SRT 800 RX

The SRT 800 RX has actually been unveiled at the Canton Fair in China before. The positioning of the whole vehicle is very similar to the 790 ADV and Excelle 800X, and even the power platform is somewhat related to KTM. Qianjiang’s “Xiao” series has a lot of displacement layouts, and there is no unified family design in appearance. This time, the arrival of the SRT 800 RX is more of a rally positioning, which is also a new attempt in design.

This SRT 800 RX is equipped with the same inline water-cooled eight-valve engine, with an actual displacement of 799cc, a maximum power of 68kW/9,000rpm, a maximum torque of 77Nm/8,000rpm, and a maximum horsepower of 92.4. The vehicle configuration also has a good performance, such as full LED lights, TFT LCD instrument, adjustable windshield, handlebar guards, dual-channel ABS, TCS traction control, Brembo calipers, etc. In addition, the seat height of the vehicle is 830mm, the fuel tank capacity is 17.8 liters, the ground clearance is 210mm, and the curb weight is only 198KG.
